MODEX Training Session: Reimagine supply chain inspection with real-time, high-speed mmWave 3D imaging. How to detect SKU errors, damage and fraud via closed containers
ThruWave’s breakthrough 3D millimeter wave imaging technology has received the 2021 Best New Innovation award from the MHI Innovation Awards, as announced at last year’s ProMatDX virtual event. As MODEX returns to a live event, this is the first time ThruWave’s mmWave 3D imagery will be presented live to industry professionals in supply chain, logistics and manufacturing.
ThruWave’s solution offers the only human-safe, high-throughput approach to seeing through opaque materials such as corrugated boxes, sealed packages and plastic bins to automatically size, count and detect anomalies on the items inside. The solution is quick and easy to adapt to existing conveyors or handling systems. ThruWave mmWave 3D Imaging is modular and can operate as a simple stand-alone system or as a fully integrated solution exchanging data with WMSs, WESs and/or control systems.
“Our new sensing and imaging solution provides transformative technology to our customers, helping to identify and reduce operational costs and carbon footprint, improve quality control, safety and security, and increase efficiency of capital investment in automation,” says Pieter Krynauw, CEO of ThruWave. “We look forward to introducing our revolutionary modular technology to potential customers looking for innovative ways to reduce costs, improve quality and eliminate bottlenecks in their operations through the power to make the invisible visible.”
Throughout MODEX, attendees have the opportunity to see this award-winning technology first-hand, meet ThruWave staff, or attend a training session on how the technology improves supply chain inspection. .
